Jana Pacheco is a playwright and stage director and performer. Her work has focused on the concept of generation and genealogy of women through visual dramaturgy and the body as a memory archive. She has directed biographical works such as Rosario de Acuña. Bursts of Uracán; (Teatro Valle-Inclán, Centro Dramático Nacional, 2019) The tomb of María Zambrano -poetic piece in a dream- (Teatro Valle-Inclán, Centro Dramático Nacional 2018) for which she received second prize at the Torrejón Festival of Stage Directors from Ardoz; or Camille (Teatro de la Puerta Estrecha, Madrid, 2016), for which she received the Best Set Design award at the TEA Festival (Toledo Escena Abierta). In 2019 she specializes in inclusive projects, whose purpose is to promote accessibility in culture: Women! To the assembly (National Museum of Roman Art of Mérida, 2021) I wish then I am (21 districts program - Madrid City Council and Carmen Thyssen Museum of Málaga, 2021) Blinks (Reina Sofía National Museum Art Center, 2019), or Voice in voice, (Imagina Madrid, Intermediae-Matadero Madrid, 2019). As a pedagogue, she has created her own school El Palomar Itinerante, where she teaches workshops related to Visual Dramaturgy, Performance and Accessible Theater in collaboration with different institutions such as the Malaga Provincial Council, the University of Malaga, the Alcalá de Henares City Council, the City Council from Madrid, etc.
